All our birds can be mixed and are reared together where possible.

We do not recommend mixing birds bought at auction. Niether do we recommend buying / adopting ex battery hens. Such birds are often riddled and are a liability to healthy stock.

Dont buy second hand
hen houses, and check the dimensions of the main chinese import ones to avoid disappointment., a converted shed is always a big hit.

The number of birds you can have is largely dictated by outdoor ranging space, at least one square metre per bird, alternatively a system of moving the hen house to fresh ground as required.
